Prof. Zhao Kejin, born in 1975, Doctor of Law in Fudan University, is Vice President of The School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University, Associate Professor in Institute of International Studies and Deputy Director of Centre for Sino-US Relations at Tsinghua University, Deputy Secretary General of Global Development Institute. His research is majorly focusing on diplomatic theories, Chinese Diplomacy, the United States-China relationships, and related issues. During working and studying, he has published 18 books in his field, and has published more than 80 academic papers on SSCI and CSSCI. He was honoured five awards on the provincial and ministerial levels. He was nominated as New Century Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education.
The author did his filed research to access the implementability of the Belt and Road Initiative in 31 provinces and municipalities (autonomous regions) in China. It serves as a pragmatic brochure for local governments to construct projects related to the Belt and Road Initiative. Meanwhile, the book indicates valuable opportunities for both international and domestic corporations and societal organizations to actively participate in the related constructions. It is an important reference for the government, the corporations, the research institutes and the societal organizations to consult in terms of the Belt and Road Initiative.
