In this book, the author tries to analyse the current international politics and world order from three perspectives, namely, economic nationalism, the combination of power and wealth, and mercantilism and liberal capitalism. The author asserts that the current world order, to large extent, is determined by liberal capitalism, and the spread of globalization speeds up the invasion of neo-mercantilism. Therefore, in order to meet the demands of, and solve the challenges of globalization, states are expected to explore their unique ways of economic developments, and try to combine them with realpolitik. It is a useful reference for scholars in the fields of Political Economy and International Relationships.
