About the Author

Wang Yizhou is a Professor of international politics and China Foreign Affairs and Associate Dean in the School of International Studies (SIS), Peking University, since late 2009. He was also Chief editor of Magazine, World Economics and Politics (monthly) from 1998 to 2008 and Deputy director in Institute of World Economics and Politics (IWEP), Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) at Beijing from 1998 to 2009. 

Book Summary

This book is a collection of outstanding essays written by doctoral candidates focusing on political science and international relations. This series includes materials from over 20 Chinese universities. The forum is initiated by the Ministry of Education in hope of creating a communication platform for scholars to exchange diverse ideas and encourage development in the study of social sciences.
