Tang Xiaosong is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. He obtained Ph.D. in international relations from Fudan University and he was a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University in 2007-2008. He is Executive Vice Director of the Centre for Canadian Studies, and member of Academic Council of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. He is also Chief Research Fellow at Guangdong Institute for International Studies and Director of the Centre for American Studies. He is Academic Editor for the Charhar Institute's Public Diplomacy Quarterly. His research is majorly focusing on the Sino-US Relationships, politics and diplomacy of Canada, politics and diplomacy of European states, and security studies in Asia-Pacific area.
