Xu Yihua is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. He is a Professor at the Center for American Studies at Fudan University in Shanghai, China, and Director of the Center for the Study of Religion and International Relations at Fudan University’s School of International Relations and Public Affairs. He also serves as a member of China’s National Endowment for Social Sciences Peer-Reviewing Committee, an Academic Adviser at the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, and also a member of the CPPCC Shanghai Committee. He is the founding editor of Religion and American Society, Christian Scholarship, and Religion and Contemporary International Relations Series. His publication includes Religion and Contemporary International Relations, Education and Religion, St. John’s University as Evangelizing Agency, Christian Colleges and Theological Education in China, and Essays on the History of Protestant Education in China. He received his master’s in history from Wuhan University and his Ph.D. in religion from Princeton University
