Xiong Wei is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. He is an Associate Professor of China Foreign Affairs University and Deputy Director of Beijing Foreign Exchange and Foreign Affairs Management Research Base. His research covers diplomatic theory, city in global governance and China-German relations. He is the author of German Foreign Policy after Unification (1990-2004). He also translated Das Politische System der Bundesrepublik Detschland 7. Auflage into Chinese. He received his BA in German from Xi’an International Studies University. He received his MA in international relations from Peking University. He acquired his Ph.D. in international relations from Peking University. He once served as a staff member of Embassy of PRC in Germany.
