Wang Chong is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. He is Vice Secretary-General of the Charhar Institute. He successively held the posts of Distinguished Research Fellow at Institute of Japanese Studies, CASS and Distinguished Senior Fellow at Center for Public Diplomacy Studies, Beijing Foreign Studies University. His research mainly focuses on new media diplomacy, China-Japan relations and China-U.S. relations. He is the author of Secret of Votes and The Fifth Change of China-U.S. Relations. He received his BA in English from Shandong Normal University. He received his second degree in international relations from School of International Studies, Peking University. He obtained his Ph.D. from Wuhan University.
