Long Xingchun is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. He is Secretary-General of Charhar's Himalaya Regional Research Center. He is a Professor and Master Tutor of International Politics at China West Normal University. He is Director of Center for Indian Studies, China West Normal University. He is also a Distinguished Research Fellow at Center for BRICS Nations, China Foreign Affairs University and Center for Pakistan Studies, Sichuan University. He is the author of India’s Great Power Diplomacy. He also translated India’s Foreign Policy: Retrospect and Prospect into Chinese. He received his MA in international relations from Sichuan University. He obtained his Ph.D. in English language and literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University. He was a Visiting Scholar of Johns Hopkins University.
