Zhong Xin is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. She is a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor of School of Journalism, Renmin University of China, and Deputy Director of Institute of Public Communication. Her research mainly covers public diplomacy, international communication and broadcasting news. She is the author of Crisis Communication: An Analysis of Information Stream and Noise. She also translated Writing and Reporting News: A Coaching Method (The Third Edition) into Chinese. She received her BA in English language and literature from Southwest Normal University (now part of Southwest University). She obtained her second bachelor's degree in journalism from Renmin University of China. She received her MA in journalism from Renmin University of China. She acquired her Ph.D. in communication studies from Renmin University of China.
