Wang Duanyong is an Adjunct Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. Dr. Wang is an Associate Professor in the School of International Relations and Public Affairs at Shanghai International Studies University and Director of the Centre for Chine Overseas Interests Studies. He received his Ph.D. in economy from Wuhan University in 2007. His research focuses mainly on Chinese investments in Africa and Chinese overseas citizens’ security.
