Liu Ranling is an Adjunct Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. She is Deputy General Manager of Transportation Department, SINOHYDRO Corporation. She is also a member of China Economic and Social Council, CPPCC and Secretary-General of China-Africa Economic and Technical Cooperation Group. Her research mainly focuses on African studies. She is the author of Cultural Struggle: History Inspection of Macau’s Culture from 16th Century to 19th Century. From 1999 to 2000, she studied in Department of History, University of Minnesota. She received her Ph.D. in history from Peking University.
