Liu Yang is an Adjunct Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. He is Chief Editor and Director of Department of Top News of Global Times. His research mainly focuses on China-U.S. relations and international relations. He has issued many in-depth and professional reports on Global Times, like The Entry of Pakistan in Wars and The Entry of a Small Village at the North Korean-Chinese Border Where Murder Happened. He received his BA in economics from Central School of Communist Youth League of China. He received his MA in international relations from University of International Relations. In 2005, he studied in a summer school of Elliott School of International Affairs, George Washington University and served as a Visiting Scholar at Henry L. Stimson Center.
