Zhang Xinjuan is an Adjunct Fellow of the Charhar Institute in Beijing. She is Professor of law in University of China Academy of Social Sciences (UCASS), Executive Member of the Council of Board of WTO Law, Chinese Society of Law, and Beijing Society of International Law. She is also a member of the Council of Chinese Society of International Private Law and Chinese Society of International Economic Law. Her research focuses on WTO law and other international economic law. Her various works include books such as The Theory and Practice of Antitrust Law (2003) and articles like The RMB Exchange Rate Issue Under The WTO Framework (2016), etc. She gained bachelor's degree from China University of Political Science and Law (CUPSL) in 1985. She then obtained master's degree in international private law also from CUPSL in 1989. Later she received Ph.D. in civil law from Institute of Law, UCASS.
