Chen Zuen is an Adjunct Fellow of the Charhar Institute in Beijing. He joined the faculty of School of Humanities of Donghua University in 2005 and was appointed a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Institute of History of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. He is interested in members of the Japanese diaspora in Shanghai. He graduated from Fudan University and was a visiting scholar at Hosei University and Kanakawa University in Japan.
