Charhar Public Diplomacy series
Li Erping is an Adjunct Fellow of the Charhar Institute in Beijing. He is a Professor at School of Administration and Economics, Kunming University of Science and Technology. His research covers international non-governmental organizations devoted to human rights, public policy analysis, and studies on Yunan’s integration with South and Southeast Asia. He produced many pieces of academic paper, for instance, Rights of Land and Food in China (2010), China’s Rural Land Policy and Human Right Protection (2013) and The Contribution of the Belt and Road Initiative to the World’s Right to Development (2016). He obtained bachelor's degree in medicine from Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine. Then he switched to Marxism studies and gained his second bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University in 1988. In 2005 he acquired Ph.D. from Tsinghua University, majoring in international politics.
