Kim Sang-Sun is an Adjunct Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. He currently holds a number of posts, for example Director of Korea Institute of Peace in East Asia, Commissioner of Overseas Education of South Korea Unification Ministry and Policy Councilor of Peace-Korea. He is a Visiting Professor and Academic Dean of Korea-China Academy of Leadership. He is Research Fellow at Korea-China Institute of Media Studies and Director of Korea-China Business Federation. He is also member of China Institute of Public Diplomacy and Peace. He works as columnist as well for couples of Chinese and South Korean media, including ifeng and Seoul News, to name but a few. He has published several books, for example The Future of East Asia: Integration and Hegemonic Wars (2014), and issued many academic and news articles. He received bachelor’s degree in Chinese language and literature from Myongji University and master’s in sociology from Taiwan University. He also holds EMBA from Peking University (PKU) and Tsinghua University. He gained Ph.D. in international relations from PKU. He once worked for Samsung SDI as Planning Manager and Director of Human Resource Office in Shenzhen and Tianjin.
