ZENG Gang is Member of Foreign Affairs Committee of the Charhar Institute in Beijing. From 2002 to 2004, he was Ambassador of the Embassy of PRC in the Republic of Ecuador. From 2004 to 2007, he successively held the posts of Deputy Director-General, Director-General of the Department of Latin American and Caribbean Affairs. From 2007 to 2010, he was Ambassador of the Embassy of PRC in Argentina. From 2010 to 2013, he was Ambassador of the Embassy of PRC in the United Mexican States. He is appointed Director of the Center for Mexican Studies of ILAS of CASS.
He received a BA in Spanish from Xi’an International Studies University. He once had further education of the history of Latin America and Mexico in El Colegio de Mexico and International Studies in Escuela diplomática.
