Zhao Xinli is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. He is Director of the Center for Public Diplomacy Studies and Vice Secretary-General of Peace and Culture Committee at the Charhar Institute. He is a Professor and Postgraduate Students’ Tutor of School of Advertising, Communication University of China. He received his BA in scientific Japanese from Xi’an Jiaotong University. He received his MA in communication science from Xi’an Jiaotong University. He obtained his Ph.D. from Waseda University. He mainly focuses on the research of public relations, public diplomacy and brand communication. He is the author of China’s Publicity to Japan and National Image, Strategy and Tactics of China’s Publicity to Japan During the Anti-Japanese War, An Analysis of Public Diplomacy of Wen Jiabao and Public Diplomacy and Communication between China and Japan. He once led the research “A Study on the Central Role of the CPC in the Publicity War against Japan During the Anti-Japanese War”, National Social Science Fund (General Project).
