Yu Wanli is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. He is a member of Academic Council of the Charhar Institute. His research covers American diplomacy, U.S.-China relations and economic diplomacy. He is the co-author of Law-based Government in China (2006), Ideology and American Diplomacy (2006) and History of China-U.S. Relations: 1949-1972 (1999). He received his BA in international politics from Fudan University. He received his MA in international relations from Peking University. He gained his Ph.D. in international relations from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
