Chen Huizhen is an Adjunct Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. She is an Associate Fellow at School of Law, Sun Yat-en University. She is also Deputy Secretary of Research Association on Economics Laws, Guangdong Province Law Society. Her research mainly covers environmental governance, ocean governance and network governance. She is the author of Inspection and Enforcement in Chinese Carbon Emissions Trading: Progress, Problems and Prospect and Sanction regimes of greenhouse gas emissions trading in the EU and China. She received her BA and MA from Sun Yat-Sen University. She obtained her Ph.D. in law from Sun Yat-Sen University.
