Han Liyong is an Adjunct Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. He is a Distinguished Lecturer of Public Opinion Monitoring Office, People’s Daily. He is Distinguished Research Fellow at the New Media Think Tank of people.com.cn. He is also consultant on public opinion at Tianya.cn and Visiting Professor of Environmental Management College of China. His research mainly covers public opinion monitoring. In 2001, he led the publication of A Study on Network Hatchet Man.
