Kato Yoshikazu is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. He is a Research Fellow at Keio Research Institute at SFC. He is mainly concerned about international relations in East Asia, Japan-China-US relations, Chinese politics and nationalism. He has been facilitating people-to-people exchange between China and Japan as a event organizer, a host, a translater and interpreter, and a negotiator. In 2005, he became a commentator. He has been a columnist for Financial Times (Chinese edition), Yazhou Zhoukan ("Asia Weekly"), Guangzhou Daily and Nikkei Business Online. He can write in Chinese and has published a couple of books, including The Logic of China (2011), The Logic of Japan (2011), How Far it is From Izu to Beijing (2010), etc. His most recent work is My Journey in America.
