Wendy Leutert is an Adjunct Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing. She is An Wang Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University Fairbank Center and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Columbia-Harvard China and the World Program. Her research mainly focuses on China’s economic reform and opening-up, and Chinese state-owned enterprises. She is the author of Challenges Ahead in China’s State-owned Company Reform (2016). She received BA in politics and philosophy from Wellesley College, MA in international relations from Tsinghua University, and Ph.D. from Cornell University. In 2015, she was a visiting scholar at John L. Thornton China Center, Brookings Institution. From 2010 to 2011, she served as a Research Fellow at the International Crisis Group.
