Charhar Institute Holds Seminar on the Current World Economic Situation in Beijing

On September 7th, the Charhar Institute held the “Seminar on the Current World Economic Situation & The 25th Innovation and Green Culture Salon” in Beijing and Zhu Guangyao, former Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Finance, Member of the Party Group of the Ministry of Finance and former Deputy-Chairman of the Office of the Central Leading Group for Financial and Economic Affairs, was invited to give a keynote speech on the current world economic situation and its impacts on China. 

Specifically, Zhu analyzed the challenges facing the current world economy and some issues of common concern at the seminar. And he also answered questions and communicated with the attendees.

During the seminar

The seminar was presided over by Zhou Hucheng, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Charhar Institute.

Wang Yuanfeng, former Vice-Director of the Central Research Department of the Jiusan Society, Vice-Chairman of the Chinese Association of Development Strategy Studies and Professor of Beijing Jiaotong University introduced about the purpose of the seminar and reviewed the past seminars.

Fan Yurong, Vice-President of the National Council of the Charhar Institute, made a welcoming speech.       

Lv Fengding, Co-Chairman of the International Advisory Committee of the Charhar Institute, Member of the Foreign Policy Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and former Deputy Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Leading Group of the CPC Central Committee, Xu Shicheng, Member of the International Advisory Committee of the Charhar Institute, and Member of the China Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Qu Zhenyuan, former Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Agricultural University, Zhang Tuo, Member of the Foreign Affairs Council of the Charhar Institute, Vice President of China-Latin America Friendship Association, and former Ambassador to Venezuela, Zhao Ping, Director-General of the China National Administration of Coal Geology, Wang Xiaoguang, President of Beijing Rongzhi Corporate Social Responsibility Institute, Liu Yang, Assistant Secretary-General of the Charhar Institute,  and many scholars of the Innovation and Green Culture Salon attended the seminar.

The seminar was co-sponsored by the Charhar Institute and the Innovation and Green Culture Salon, and was organized by the Beijing Rongzhi Corporate Social Responsibility Research Institute.
